What is Robojob?
Robojob, a pioneer in CNC automation, is a Belgian company with more than 2,000 robots installed in more than 30 countries making them a trusted leader in the global market. Since 2007, they have been providing user-friendly solutions that make production smarter, faster and more sustainable.
Building the Website
Robojob approached us asking if we could continue working on the code they wanted to provide. However, this was not possible because the code behind their website was not designed to be flexible. Therefore, after much discussion with the client, it was decided that Code-on could design and develop a new website for them.
First, we try to get a clear picture of their expectations, the challenges they experience and the specific requirements to be met. That way, we get a good idea of the situation and start offering a customized solution. Once we had a clear picture of Robojobs' expectations, we started working on the design in Figma. Thanks to multiple rounds of feedback, they are able to actively think along and indicate specific points of improvement. After this, we made the necessary adjustments to optimize the design to their needs.
In the final stage of the process, we transform the design into a fully functional website. The previously designed visual and interactive elements are now actually built.
In development, we use Wagtail, a user-friendly content management system (CMS). This gives Robojob an intuitive and easy-to-navigate platform that allows them to easily manage and edit content themselves.
In addition, we ensure seamless integration, by transferring the existing data. This means that all the necessary data and functionalities are immediately available within the new website, making the management of things run smoothly right away.
Conclusion
Thanks to an open and transparent collaboration with the client, we achieved an end result that both they and we are extremely satisfied with. Through close consultation, clear communication and an iterative process, we have created a website that perfectly matches their needs and expectations. It is a project we look back on with pride.
